The rise of Japan's flirtatious profession
The New York Times lavished a lingering look upon the women of Japan’s gentlemen’s club, women who in turn lavish adoring attention on men for a fee. A profession once shunned, hostess positions have been enjoying swelling popularity as the recession shrinks economic and employment prospects. These young beautiful women smile, compliment, laugh, flirt, and entertain men. And they are well paid to do such.
